The legendary Don CeSar Beach Resort, a Loews Hotel in St. Pete Beach, Fla. features the world-class culinary creations of the renowned Executive Chef Eric Neri. The distinguished chef oversees three diverse dining outlets at the resort, including the Four-Diamond Maritana Grille, where his New American specialties range from Seared Ahi Tuna Tartare with Coconut Rice and Asian Ginger Glaze, to Chilled Lobster and Smoked Salmon Timbale with Micro Sprouts.

Classically trained, Neri started his career at a small Italian restaurant in upstate New York then moved on to work for major hospitality companies including Arvida Corp., Registry Resorts, Club Corporations of America and Interstate Hotels. The gourmet guru has had the opportunity to work for Italian, German, French, and Hungarian chefs and has participated in national and international culinary competitions, earning 10 gold medals. He was named "Best Chef in Tampa Bay" in 1997 and has participated in numerous culinary events at the prestigious James Beard House in New York City. In January 2005, his Crab and Scallop Galette with Apex Greens, Truffle Vinaigrette & Remoulade won the gold award in the salad category of the esteemed APEX Food and Beverage Challenge.

Neri and the Don CeSar's director of food and beverage, Tobby Rau, recently completed Chef Neri's first recipe book, which enables readers to recreate savory seafood cuisine and succulent desserts from the award-winning Maritana Grille. The book will hit stores in time for the holiday season.

Directions to the Don Cesar

From Tampa International Airport

• The Don CeSar Beach Resort is located 30 minutes from the Tampa International Airport.
• Follow the airport exit to I-275 South, heading across the Howard Frankland Bridge toward St. Petersburg.
• Continuing South on I-275, approximately 20 miles, to exit #17 (old exit #4) marked Pinellas Bayway/St. Pete Beach.
• You will now be heading west. You will pass Eckerd College on the left, and proceed through a $.50 toll booth. This will take you over a series of 3 bridges.
• You will see the Don CeSar (The Pink Castle) straight ahead of you.
• Our main entrance to the resort is your last left, one block before the traffic signal for Gulf Boulevard.

From the Sarasota Area

• Take I-75 North to I-275 North.
• Cross the Sunshine Skyway Bridge to Exit # 17 marked Pinellas Bayway/St. Pete Beach. This exit is the one which departs off to the left.
• At the light at the end of the exit ramp, turn left. You will pass Eckerd College on the left, and proceed through the toll booth ($.50). This will take you over a series of 3 bridges.
• You will see the Don CeSar (The pink castle) straight ahead of you.
• Our main entrance sign is on the left hand side of the road, one block before the traffic signal for Gulf Boulevard.

From Orlando

• Take I-4 West to 275 South, going through Tampa, heading across the Howard Frankland Bridge towards St. Petersburg.

Policies / Guidelines

Pet Policy
No Pet rooms available Sep 1 - 3. We have met our maximum Pet capacity.
Call the resort for any Pet kennel referrals.

• The weight limit for any animal is 25 pounds
• Only one pet allowed per room
• A certificate of health from a Veterinarian must be faxed to the hotel dated no earlier than 10 days prior to arrival date - Fax number is 727-367-6952
• Pet Agreement provided by the hotel must be completed, signed and faxed to the hotel prior to arrival (Fax number is 727-367-6952); Agreement can be faxed to you (Please call 1-800-282-1116, press option 1)
• Dogs must be walked in designated dog walking areas only, and cleaning up after the pet is the responsibility of the pet owner
• Pets are not allowed in the restaurants, lounges, pool areas, or on the beach
• When in any permissible common area the pet must be in a cage or on a leash
• A one-time $25.00 pet fee will be posted to each room occupied by a pet
• If your pet is alone in room, we ask they are placed in a crate environment - pet sitting services are available for a fee
• Pets arriving without a signed policy and without proper documentation from the vet will result in relocation of your pet to the nearest local kennel

Resort Fee
A $10.00 per person, per night resort fee will be applied to your stay, with applicable taxes, not to exceed $20.00 plus tax per night. Resort fee includes:

Cancellation Policy
Any cancellations or changes to your reservation must be made three or more nights prior to your   arrival date to avoid forfeit of your deposit.

Guarantee Policy
All reservations are required to be confirmed with a one night's room and tax deposit. The deposit guarantees the reservation and then is applied to the last night of your stay upon check-in. Credit cards will be charged fifteen days prior to arrival for the required guarantee deposit.
